Crockpot Butter Chicken (Easy)

The meal I make when I don't feel like cooking! This butter chicken is a minimal kitchen- time recipe, but there is nothing boring about it!

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 2 hours


Ingredients

Instructions

  • 5-6 boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

Step 1 Add ginger, garlic, tomato sauce, and all spice to the crockpot. Mix to combine.

  • 2 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced

Step 2 Add chicken into the crockpot and coat in the sauce.

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

Step 3 Top the chicken with cubed butter.

  • 1 can tomato sauce (16 0z)

Step 4   Cover and cook on high for 1.5 hours.

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

Step 5   Stir in heavy cream, cover, and cook on high for another 30 minutes.

  • 2 teaspoons garam masala

Step 6   Serve over rice and with naan bread. Enjoy!

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika


  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric


  • ½ teaspoon chili powder


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • ½ teaspoon granulated sugar OR honey


  • 3 tablespoons butter, in small cubes


  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
