Simple Strawberry Coulis (NO ADDED SUGAR)

Simple and delicious strawberry coulis for anything! I use this to fill cakes or cupcakes.

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients | Instructions |
---|---|
| Step 1 Add strawberries to a saucepan. Cook on low to medium-low heat for 12 minutes or until strawberries are soft and liquid has formed. Stir often. |
Step 2 Remove from heat and run through a strainer with small holes to get rid of seeds and large clumps. You may need to use a fork to press the liquid through. | |
Step 3 Cool completely before using on cake or other desserts. |
You can also freeze this into discs to use between layers of a cake. I did this for the cake above! It allows for easy assembly.
